Check Imaging

CheckScan is designed to work with the MagTek MICRImage scanner to produce scanned images of checks with MICR support.

CheckScan requires the MICRImage to be connected to your computer with the supplied serial cable. If your computer does not have a serial port, you may be able to use a USB to Serial port adapter cable.

If you recently ordered your MICRImage scanners from VSI, the CheckScan software is included on a CD Rom. If you purchased your MICRImage previously or elsewhere, you can download CheckScan here.

Note:
CheckScan was developed for Windows 98 and Windows Me. It will not work with Windows XP, however MagTek has a demo program that does. You can download it from MagTek. The MagTek demo software does not auto save the checks based on the MICR, but otherwise performs the same functionality as CheckScan.
