Facetwin Registry Settings

To map a drive to your Unix server via FacetWin, you must first install a registry fix to your computer. Click on your version of Windows below and select Run to install the fix. Once the fix is installed, you must re-boot your computer.

• Windows 98
• Windows Me
• Windows XP
• Windows 2000

Note: Due to security risks with port 139, most ISP's do not allow port 139 traffic through their firewalls. In this case, you will not be able to map a drive to your Unix server unless you are on the same local network as your server.
